Ultimately, I've reached my patriotic goal in time. 49 red cupcakes!!
Happy 49th Birthday Singapore!!!
While "looping" these red and white rubber bands, I thought, I might not have enough of the same red tone bands for all 49 cupcakes I intended to make.
"Gosh! I wish to have a uniform arrangement with the exact same colour." the thought of the outcome upsets me. I wanted it to be perfect.
Stretching and looping the rubber bands, the imperfection of the dissimilar red colour rubber bands slowly revealed that it isn't that bad after all!!
Different red tones resembles the different ethic and racial groups of this unique little country, my homeland, Singapore.
One People, One Home.
We are all One People, whether dark red, bright red, light red, we are all red in colour.
Let's grow in peace and harmony.
